(Jill Stuart, Rebecca Taylor, Herve Leger, Christian Siriano)
The streets were snowy but the fashion went on. I kicked off my morning at Jill Stuart. Feminine black sheer dresses, some splatter with gold polka dots and floral prints, floated down the runway. Each one more beautiful then the next. Vivid sunset colored flower applique dresses closed the show.
Over at Rebecca Taylor, navy and black continued to reign. I fell in love with a leather sleeve blazer that I can’t wait to buy come fall. Then, I headed backstage at Herve Leger and got to view the bandage up close. This season it was all about pattern and texture. To die for! I ended my shows at Christian Siriano, who was inspired by Russian opulence. I was thrilled to see him use faux fur and adored all the gold pieces that floated down the runway.
As for my look? I was lucky enough to borrow a stunning navy and plum Herve Leger dress. Both colors are proving to be quite popular for fall! To keep warm, I paired it with navy tights… and even slipped off my faux fur coat for a photo op so you could see the beautiful bandage.
