One of the wonderful parts about living in LA is getting to shop at outdoor malls. The Americana at Brand in Glendale, CA is one of the prettiest I’ve been to yet! The beauty of the space is right in line with some of spring’s top trends. Check it out in the video above!
I brought my girl Jenny Wu of GoodBadandFab along for a girls’ day of shopping, dining and relaxing. We popped into Kate Spade and Sephora to show off three Spring trends:
-Black and White-
Black and white is huge this season. Taking inspiration from the graphic lines outside of Sephora, I gravitated toward’s Kate Spade’s checkered prints. I wore the Sadie skirt, while Jenny went with the Myrna top. We both added a pop of color with accessories (how cute is this Pop clutch?!) and bright Sephora lipstick.
Colorblocking has always been one of my favorite trends. So I’m thrilled it’s still so popular this year. Inspired by the beautiful flowers and bright scenery at The Americana at Brand, I chose this hot pink Carol dress, accented with the multi-colored Flats necklace. Jenny translated the trend in blue jeans and the Mondrian print Meri sweater.
One of the my favorite parts about the mall is the fountains. And the water is perfectly on point with Spring’s nautical styles. I doubled my stripes in the Nataly sweater and Sidney tote. Jenny chose the Matty dress.
I hope you like the video and all our looks! A huge thank you to the amazingly talented Preston Ngo and Armando Barker for helping me capture the beauty of The Americana at Brand.
