Go Bright For Winter

Sydne-Style-Lancome-dreamtone-colorblock-winter-outfits-dull-skin-bright-colors-outfit-inspiration As winter approaches, the skies darken and we tend to go for more muted clothing. But a bright outfit—and equally bright skin!—can drastically change your mood.

When it comes to colorful fashion, I like layering bright solids in unexpected combinations. I started with a neon pink shirt and added a contrasting red sweater on top. A yellow blazer created an extra bold statement. You should always stop at three colors. To complete my look, I added a matching red bag, and then kept everything else neutral with metallics and black.

For my face I actually went makeup free aside from some mascara and lip gloss. During the winter, my skin tends to get a little dull. And I usually get some red splotches from the cold. But Lancôme sent me their new Lancôme DreamTone, which has helped even out my skin tone. My red splotches have started to vanish (so I can just wear the color on my nails!) and my skin feels softer overall after weeks of usage. I love how DreamTone has made it just as bright as my colorful fashion!

So here it is, something I rarely ever post: a makeup free photo! Join the #bareselfie movement by tagging #bareselfie on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter to share how confident you are in your natural skin.
