Remember last year when I introduced you to the deconstructed shirt trend? I did a DIY video on how you can rework white button down shirts in your closet. Well, the trend keeps getting more and more popular. So if you haven’t tried it yet, now is a great time to experiment!
So what is the deconstructed shirt trend? Essentially, it’s the classic button down shirt reimagined. Think slits, ties and wrap styles that look innovative and modern. If you’re not into DIY projects there are plenty of affordable options. My striped deconstructed shirt is only $18!
Since the style makes such a statement, I like to keep everything else streamlined. So I just slipped into dark skinny jeans and this season’s popular mules shoe trend. This bag might look familiar from this post. It’s so cool because you can detach the front flap and turn it into a little crossbody!
What do you think of the deconstructed shirt trend? Are you into it? Or do you prefer to stick with the more classic button-up?
