Ask Sydne: Where Can I Find Floral Jeans Under $100

Do you have any info on finding a pair of fabulous floral jeans under $100? —K. Lynne

The floral jean trend is so popular that you can find a pair at any price point. If you have a little more money to spend, check out my options here and here. If not, here are my top three online retailers to find more affordable florals:

1. Topshop
My faves are the Jamie jeans ($90). For a more Hawaiian feel try the Leigh ($80) or go for a more understated print with the 7/8ths ($84).

2. ASOS
I’m really digging the dark denim in ASOS’s floral print #4 ($60.88). But it also comes in a lighter color ($60.88). Prefer something more subtle? Try the Johann Earl denim pant ($90.45).

3. Delia’s
Delia’s has an awesome deal right now: buy one, get the other 50% off! So why not go for the floral print ($39.50) and the rose print ($39.50)? You can buy both for under $100.

Ask Sydne: What to Wear to A Cocktail Wedding

With wedding season underway, I’ve been getting a lot of questions on what to wear. And I had to ask myself the same question this past weekend.

Luckily, cocktail attire is one of the easier wedding dress codes. I opted for neutrals and shine with this Zimmermann dress from LIVE! on Sunset. A metallic dress is a great choice since it can carry you through from spring into winter.

If you want to go with color, try spring’s trendy pastels. You can also go bright as long as you steer clear from red or hot pink (you don’t want to distract from the bride!).

Prefer dark? Black is totally acceptable, especially for an evening affair. But I usually opt a pewter or navy when it comes to weddings.

As for length? Short is fine as long as you don’t go mini. Revealing is never an adjective you want for a wedding. Here are a few affordable options I found online:

Ask Sydne: Three Day Cleanse with BluePrint Cleanse

Two years ago, I attempted a DIY Juice Cleanse. I failed. Miserably. I decided cleansing was not for me. But after hearing so many fashionistas rave about juicing I decided to give it another go. This time I skipped the DIY detox and spent the money on the BluePrint Cleanse. Even after receiving one free day at a fashion event, it was still $130 for the three-day Renovation Cleanse. Pretty pricy! But, as you can tell if you follow me on Instagram (I’m @sydnesummer), I have been overindulging quite a bit. So I figured it was worth it.

Unfortunately, I’ve learned that just like in fashion and beauty, trends don’t work for everyone. (more…)
