Best Night Ever: Celebrity Trends

When it comes to inspiration for your best night ever, the red carpet is a great place to start. Two of my absolute favorite celebrity trends right now are peplum and bright lips. So I combined both for my best night ever, celeb style.

Later today, I’ll be joining Eye For Style, Fashion Style Beauty and CLEAR Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy celebrity stylist Jen Atkins for a one-hour twitter party. We’ll be answering all your fashion and beauty questions so make sure to use the hashtag #bestnightever to join the fun! The more times you tweet, the more chances you have to win one of four great prizes!

Make sure to visit Bestnightever.promojam.com for more information (and enter the contest!)

Jen, who has worked on the tresses of stylish stars like Nicole Richie, Sofia Vergara and Jessica Alba, believes that women need to nourish the scalp first, to give you the foundation for strong, beautiful hair. So I did just that with CLEAR Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy shampoo and conditioner before getting ready for the evening.

Last week, at the Young Hollywood Awards, I was obsessed with Ginnifer Goodwin’s pink lip. So I did a similar bold beauty look, using orange instead. My dress is from Shareen Vintage, which is a vintage shop in LA and NY frequented by stars like Katy Perry, Zooey Deschanel and Autumn Reeser. I had it tailored to hit above the knee to keep it fresh and modern. Customizing a flattering hemline is one of my many tips for looking hot on your best night ever.

Pastel Florals

Staple Used: Satin Pencil Skirt
Today I went extra girlie by mixing pastels and florals. Instead of keeping with gold jewelry, I added an extra pop of color with emerald accents. Bold jewelry is a great way to make an outfit more unique.

ttF Fashion Diary: Hippie Fringe

ttF Fashion Staple: Wine Velvet Jeans
With the 70s trend back in full swing, it felt appropriate to break out a fringe poncho. When you have so much volume on top, it’s important to keep things streamlined on bottom with a skinny pant or legging. This sweater is so incredibly comfy, perfect for a cool fall day or travel. Speaking of which, I’m off to Barcelona today! I’m beyond excited to do a styling session with my fellow bloggers and JCPenney at Mango’s Spanish studio. Until then, click here to check out my past posts as part of the MNG by MANGO mission!
