The Staple: High-Waist Flare Jeans
I just couldn’t get enough of my leopard top as a staple, so I brought it with me to New York to wear at fashion week. Paired with a red blazer and flare jeans it was the perfect piece to transition from morning shows to afternoon meetings. The color and print pairing made the conservative silhouette fashionable enough for the tents. And you can never go wrong when you add a statement necklace.

The Staple: Bright Cable Knit Sweater
One of my favorite colors to pair with orange is navy. Over the summer, I mixed prints with the combo but today kept with solids. When tucking a cable knit sweater into a pencil skirt, you want to make sure the waist is very fitted. If it’s not, you can do what I did, and use a ribbon in matching color to cinch your middle. I originally planned on a tan shoe until these periwinkle beauties came in the mail! The pastel gives the look a more unique feel—plus, it’s a major trend for spring.

The Staple: Bright Cable Knit Sweater
A cable knit sweater can instantly transition your summer wardrobe into winter. Simply layer the sweater over a dress to turn it into a skirt, like I did with this Parker floral one. Add tights, boots and a jacket. I went with denim for a more casual look. With so many layers you don’t need much accessorizing. Right now, I’m loving the dainty ring trend, so I slipped on a couple of gold pieces.

The Staple: Neon Pink Blouse
One of my fave styles in the past year has been the buttoned-up-to-the-neck blouse/sweater/statement necklace combo. It’s preppy yet fashion forward at the same time. And I love how a necklace like this one can dress up casual jeans and cable knit cashmere. To make the neon of my blouse really pop, I kept to a neutral color palette for the rest of the outfit. And a top knot was the perfect solution to a bad hair day.
