ttF Fashion Staples Month #20 Summary: August Safari
As much as I adore brights, it was nice to have a muted color story this month. Plus, the neutrals mixed very well with summer colors. Considering the amount of compliments I got on my necklace, you’ll definitely be seeing it pop up in daily outfits the rest of the year. And I need to stock up on more Michelle Jonas Travelwear. I’m actually blogging in the dress right now. It’s so comfortable I never want to take it off.

ttF Fashion Diary: Exotic Breakfast

ttF Fashion Staple: Olive Dress and Taupe Bag
This morning, I attended a blogger breakfast with Too Faced. The cosmetics company introduced their fall collection, based around exotic beauty. Keeping with the exotic theme, I turned my olive dress into a top by tucking it in a flouncy tribal skirt (a trick I’ve used before with a similar outfit here). I enjoyed catching up with bloggers, including Red Carpet Roxy and Megs Makeup, pictured below. We tried out the new eye shadows, liners, brushes and mascara. My personal fave? The Matte Eye Shadow Collection. The soft neutrals are the perfect compliment to fall’s bold red lips. I can’t wait start blending the modern mattes next month!

ttF Fashion Staple: Tribal Necklace
I still can’t believe how fast summer went by. Tonight, I celebrated the last days that are left of my favorite season with cocktails and appetizers on the new deck at Lola’s. There was an Elixir Floral Infusion tasting with hibiscus martinis, lavender seared scallops, rose truffles and more delectable treats. My outfit was a floral infusion of it’s own, with flower printed shorts mixed with my Ikat from Atlantic City and a tribal necklace. It was a perfect summer evening.

ttF Fashion Staple: Military Jacket
With fashion week rapidly approaching I can’t help but get excited for fall trends. Today, while running errands, I turned to more autumn colors with navy and deep orange. It’s the sixth time I’ve worn this month’s military jacket. It’s been so incredibly comfortable that I’m going to miss it as a staple in September!

ttF Fashin Diary: Yellow Tapenade

ttF Fashion Staple: Canvas Belt and Taupe Bag
The beauty of San Diego is it’s so incredibly laid back. So even when you’re going to a delectable French restaurant, like Tapenade in La Jolla, there’s no need to get too dressed up. Tonight, I did a beach chic feel by taking inspiration from this outfit I wore back in May. After such an incredible meal all I can say is I was thrilled to have to much stretch in my belt!
