ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Mod Hot
And the Los Angeles heat waves continues… I used my lace jacket again to make my summer dress look a little fall while still keeping cool.  A round pair of shades went with the retro feel of the dress and my favorite ladybug heels added a pop of color.

Black & White Prints
It seemed as though just about every type of print comes in black and white for spring: artistic, geometric, graphic, tribal, you name it. I especially like the mixed patterns at Naeem Khan.

I fell in love with the Gianfrance Ferre dress Anne Hathaway wore to the Critics’ Choice Awards so I’m thrilled there are similar variations in the works aside from the Alice + Olivia one Amber Tamblyn and Khloe Kardashian sported over the summer. At last week’s Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party, Desperate Housewives’ Andrea Bowen also hopped on the trend with a zig-zag strapless. And I cannot wait to see which celebrity will wear Marchesa’s cutout rose creation on the red carpet!

ttF Daily Fave: Anne Taylor Polka Dot Tie Front Blouse

Ann Taylor Tie Fron Polka Dot BlouseWhen I was looking for black and white polka dot dresses, I stumbled upon this
Ann Taylor Tie Front Blouse
($225). It’s a little pricy, but the sheer chiffon sleeves and marble dot print are oh so elegant. I would wear the top with skinny jeans or a slim pencil skirt and red ballet flats for a Parisian chic look.
