Leather in general was huge for spring. There were black leather skirt, colorful leather dresses and buttery soft vests. But white leather was the real stand out. Invest in one key piece: a skirt, dress or blazer. Then wear it different ways all season long.

Sunday is always a more casual day for me. Plus, I was checking out of the Empire Hotel, where I had such a wonderful fashion week stay. So instead of a dress I went for jeans. But not any jeans would do. I needed something extra stylish. Enter my new emerald skinnies. And I wasn’t the only one feeling the color.
Lauren Conrad sat pretty in green front row at Tracy Reese, which was full of vibrant brights inspired by foliage. Over at Catherine Malandrino’s presentation, white ruled the room, with sexy crochet and intricate embroidery. An embellished jacket was one of my absolute faves. To regain fuel for the week, I had ragu at my fave West Village spot then walked on the Highline back to Chelsea. New York can be so magical.
