ttF Fashion Staple: Cherry Shoe Clips
One of my fave Kate Middleton looks was when she accessorized a white Reiss dress with a red Lock and Co fascinator, Anya Hindmarch clutch and Hobbs pumps in Canada. Instead of red, I did hot pink for my second night in Atlantic City. I then used my cherry shoe clips to spice up a pair of peep toes, similar to what I did here. While stilettos weren’t the wisest choice for the boardwalk (my heel got stuck in the wood!) it was a fun night regardless. My dress even matched the white wayfarers given out at one of the Food & Wine festivities, which I happily put on for a pic with the Season 7 cast of Food Network Star (below with Alicia, Whitney, Chris, Susie and Mary Beth).

ttF Fashion Staple: Cherry Shoe Clips
I really didn’t have much time getting ready last night. I was meeting friends for dinner at Katsu Ya in Hollywood, then going to Colony after. So I went with basic black. The ruffles added enough interest to forgo a necklace but I wanted a pop of color. So I clipped my cherries on to blue suede shoes and matched it with a bright red lip (my go-to makeup trip when I’m in a rush).

ttF Fashion Staple: Cherry Shoe Clips
Being a Pisces, I was drawn to this shirt because of the fish print. I didn’t really think about the pattern while getting ready for dinner… until we sat down and I looked at the sushi menu. I guess I was dressed the part! Since the shirt has such a loud print and gold buttons, you really don’t need too many accessories. So I simply added a gold belt and an extra pop of color at my feet.

ttF Fashion Diary: Farmer’s Cherries

ttF Fashion Staple: Red Jeans and Cherry Shoe Clips
It only seemed fitting to accessorize with cherries for a trip to the Farmer’s Market to stock up on summer fruit. So I attached my shoe clips onto a pair of flip-flops, then brought out the red by cuffing my colored denim. When buying my tan stripe tee staple, Club Monaco was having a promotion on shirts so I bought one in black and white, too. I switched things up today with the different colored lines and topped it off with a simple side braid and two canvas bags to carry my produce.
