Stripes and florals go oh so well together. The trick to mixing the prints is staying in the same color family. So I went for a taupe look, adding a pop of color with a squeeze of orange at my feet.

This outfit happened by accident. I was visiting the Citizens of Humanity showroom in a camel sweater, regular wash jeans and mint heels. I tried on this pair floral denim and realized how much better I looked with a monochromatic pairing. It really helps elongate the body. Don’t you just love when outfits perfectly fall into place?

Staple Used: Floral Jeans
Floral jeans are perfect for a picnic. They scream spring and the print hides grass stains and dirt oh so well. I tied on a denim shirt and added a pop of color with my handbag to sip rosé with friends at Wattles Mansion. A polka dot basket filled with cheese and crackers brought in the mixed prints trend.
