Staple Used: Beaded Skirt
One of my favorite looks is a denim shirt paired with a sequin skirt. It’s the perfect contrast of casual and fancy. Today I did a similar variation, substituting sequins for beading. I first threw on my leather over-the-knee boots but decided to go with cowboy boots at the last minute. It gave the look a very Ralph Lauren feel.

ttF Fashion Staple: Black Lace Cardigan
One of my favorite parts about being down in San Diego with my family for the holidays are the sunsets. Because it was so cloudy today this one faded pretty quickly. But I was still able to capture it in the pic below. Inspired by Thanksgiving, I went for a very American look, with cowboy boots and denim on denim. The easiest way to do the double denim trend is to mix black jeans with a lighter wash. Then, I added a lace cardigan to dress it up a bit for our pre-Thanksgiving tradition: Joe’s stone crabs flown fresh from Miami. Delish! Hope all of you have a wonderful holiday!

ttF Fashion Staple: Floral Statement Necklace
I was thrilled to receive this floral maxi from Alternative. The socially conscious company makes the softness fabrics, and this 100% cotton skirt is no exception. The print also happened to go beautifully with this month’s staple necklace staple so I created simple backdrop for the two yellow pieces to shine: a ribbed white tank, tan bag and cowboy boots. I was planning only to wear the outfit to happy hour but it was so comfy I decided to leave it on for the rest of the night!

ttF Fashion Staple: Turquoise Necklace
Perhaps it’s my love for cowboy boots, but I’ve been incredibly influenced by spring’s Western trend. And a white strapless dress is the perfect backdrop to get started. First, I beat the heat with a side braid then cinched my waist with a thick brown belt, slipped on my beloved boots (they’re so comfy!) and used my turquoise necklace to add some Southwest influence. And since it’s Coachella, I of course had to Express-orize with a stack of friendship bracelets.
