Earlier this year I shot a campaign with Alice + Olivia and Magnum Ice Cream. And today was the big reveal of the designer’s Magnum Mini skirts. It was so cool to see the classic and the almond flavors come to life via fashion in a beyond fabulous presentation. Designer Stacey Bendet was inspired by the 1950s American Dream and it’s an understatement to say I wanted the entire collection.
Earlier in the day, I got to see gorgeous sequined gowns and luxe lace at Reem Acra and a vibrant fashion week debut at Marimekko. Chris Benz also brought out his A-game with more lace (a major trend for spring!) and A-listers, like Susan Sarandon, who brought her two adorable pups to fashion week.
As for me, I tapped into one of fall’s most flattering trends: the illusion dress. By having a color down your middle and black lining your sides, you instantly shave off five pounds. It’s fashion magic.
