ttF Fashion Diary: Neon Spice

ttF Fashion Staple: White Rubber Watch
I can’t believe I almost forgot to post my favorite outfit from my trip last week! I’m normally not a pink person, but the neon snakeskin silk screamed my name at Saks—and I knew South Beach was the perfect spot to show it off. Since anything goes in Miami, I added an extra pop of pink with my cork heels and pulled a Jennifer Lopez by doubling up on python prints. Then I contrasted my sparkly jewelry with a sportier watch.

The relaxed fit of the dress was ideal for a tasting preview of Miami Spice at Fontainebleau. My best friend and I were treated to four decadent meals at Blade, Scarpetta, Hakkasan and Gotham Steak. It was as if I had died and gone to foodie heaven. While everything was incredibly delish, my two fave dishes were the pasta and polenta at Scarpetta. Needless to say, I was thankful I chose to skip a skin-tight dress that night.

ttF Fashion Diary: Blue Tiesto

ttF Fashion Staple: White Cage Heels
I guess this is a last-night-in-Miami dress. I wore it my final night last August and this trip simply swapped the shoes and did dangling earrings instead of a statement bracelet. After a delish dinner at Kane Steakhouse, we headed back to our hotel and partied at LIV to see Tiesto. Although after 12 days of traveling I’m happy to go home, I’m sad to leave Miami!

ttF Fashion Diary: Mondrian Miami

ttF Fashion Staple: White Cage Heels
When I saw this dress, it made me think of a summery version of a Mondrian painting. With the intense geometric print, you really don’t need much when it comes to accessories. I brought out the white with my heels, and then added a touch of shine with stud earrings, a sparkly ring and my muted metallic clutch. Since I’m in Miami, I did an extra pop of color with a coral lip. These pics were taken from our balcony at the Fontainebleau. It’s heaven being surrounded by such gorgeous blue colors.

ttF Fashion Diary: Staircase to Nowhere

ttF Fashion Staple: White Cage Heels
One of my favorite parts about the Fontainebleau is the hotel’s historic architecture. I’ve already talked about the iconic chandeliers, which inspired my own lighting in my apartment. So tonight I took my photo on the Staircase to Nowhere. Back in the 50s, there was a cloakroom upstairs, so women would drop off their furs, and then descend the staircase like a runway. The cloak room is gone but that didn’t mean I couldn’t work the golden backdrop! I brought back one of my favorite staples and mixed the stripes with polka dots, and then added pops of coral and turquoise for a little Miami flavor.
