Fashion Staple: Striped Dress
Swarovski adds sparkle to any outfit. That’s why I’m thrilled to host an event with them this Wednesday offering 15% off their gorgeous crystal designs. If you’re around LA I’d love to see you (the invite is at the end of this post)! Inspired by this gorgeous Atelier Swarovski by Vanessa Seward necklace, I’m going with an aquatic feel for the night. By belting a cardigan on top of my dress, I was able to hide the cutouts. Then I balanced out the blues with a gold crystal bracelet, quilted clutch and nude pumps. (more…)

Fashion Staple: Red Shorts
If you like the look of a romper but can’t find the perfect fit, try matching your top and bottom. It resembles a one piece but you can get different sizes, which makes things way easier. To dress up my outfit for a night out, I piled on the gold accessories, then added a floral pump for a Spring finish.

Bold Suiting
Fashion Staple: Bright Pant Suit
Earlier today, you learned my tips for rocking a bright pant suit. Well, here’s another way to wear it. Since the suit is so colorful, I balanced it out with white and gold. I actually wore this to the Lucky FABB conference the other week. It was a great stand-out look to meet new people. I threw it on again to get serenaded by musician Kai Brown in Venice (you can see a pic on my Facebook page). I was having a bad day and yellow is always a great pick-me-up color.

Fashion Staple: Coral Dress
People respond to color. So why not bring a cheerful hue to the office? By layering a blazer on top of a bright sheath, it instantly makes it work appropriate. I used a cream jacket from fall, which works year-round. If it’s still cold where you live, you could wear this outfit with tights. I would do a light gray with a matching pump. (more…)
