Staple Used: Satin Pencil Skirt
When I bought this skirt I couldn’t resist the matching peplum top. The whole look reads way more expensive that it actually was (don’t you just love when that happens?). Keeping budget conscious, I added my new beaded necklace and gradmother’s purse. Of course, the shoes are a bit of a splurge but they’re one of the best investments I’ve made. A classic metallic Jimmy Choo sandal will never go out of style.

ttF Fashion Staple: Black Pencil Skirt and Oversize Black Clutch
Tonight marked the final leg of the MNG by MANGO Mission: the big reveal of our blogger photo at the Manhattan JCPenney. I ended where I started, with my fave animal print cardi from the collection (see how I styled in like Sienna Miller). I tucked it into this month’s staple skirt, kept warm with tights and added sparkle at my neck and feet to glam things up for the party. It was so nice reuniting with the Style Coalition bloggers I bonded with in Barcelona–and, of course, I’ve been dying to see the photo for months! Check out my Tumblr for a sneak peek.

ttF Fashion Staple: Orange Pencil Skirt
I’m thrilled I bought this orange skirt. Because after a week at fashion week, it’s definitely one of the hottest colors continuing into next year. For day 1, I paired the bright with more brights. But today, I swapped the color for spots… double spots actually.

Highlights today included watching Chado Ralph Rucci in the American Express Skybox. It’s always an incredibly sophisticated collection, but today had surprises with plastic inserts and plastic fingerless gloves on all the models. My favorite pieces were romantic white dresses that any bride would be lucky to wear. Then, it was on to Milly, which was a vibrant step in a more playful direction. I can’t wait to shop the geometric prints and striped cardigans next spring.

ttF Fashion Staple: White Eyelet Blouse
Dressing for 90 degree humidity can be tough. After laying out on the beach in this Le Doux bikini, I used my eyelet staple to keep cool as a cover-up. Wooden bangles and a bright tote added a pop of color to the neutral boho combo. And I’m loving these new sandals I picked up in New York after trying to walk 30 blocks in heels. The beading looks five times more expensive than the $18 price tag.
