Fashion Staple: Sequined Jacket
A sequin jacket is incredibly versatile. You can wear it with jeans, like I did earlier in the week, or use it to give a little black dress a whole new look. I’ve been loving silver heels recently. So I used the metallic to bring out the shine of the jacket, then added an extra pop with some crystal accessories. It was perfect Friday outfit for a night out with my girls. Fashion Staple: Sequined Jacket
I guess I have quite the obsession with distressed denim and statement jackets. I can’t stop wearing the combo! I just love how you can be incredibly comfortable in vintage-style jeans and a tee, but still looked dressed up thanks to a jacket like this one. I wore this outfit to my blogger bestie Penny Chic‘s birthday the other week. It was a casual affair but the sequins definitely added a celebratory factor.

Fashion Staple: Sequined Jacket
An extra dose of sparkle can really elevate your mood. I’ve been going through a breakup recently (you may notice more sunglass photos then usual!). And fashion has been my savior. Sometimes it’s a bright color. Other times it’s glitz, like this look I wore to the RewardStyle conference in Dallas. I brought out the multi-color sequins with a neon green blouse, then added leather shorts to edge things up. Instead of keeping my accessories simple, I stacked on major bling. So whenever I looked down at my wrist I couldn’t help but smile.
