Fashion Staple: White Denim Jacket
A great summer combo is a bandage skirt and denim jacket. You’ve seen my wear it before here with a blue denim jacket. To switch things up, I tried my white jacket with a striped skirt for a nautical feel (a huge trend this season). For a glam factor, I added plenty of gold jewelry, then a chunky wooden heel to balance out the mini hemline.

My favorite thing to pair with neon is nude. By dressing in head-to-toe neutrals, I was really able to let the print of the jacket remain the main focus of my outfit. I played around with proportions by layering a longer tank under the jacket. It makes it more effortless and casual than tucking your top in.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday! I’ve been spending the week with my family down in Del Mar. San Diego is incredibly casual. I could literally live in ripped jeans and my flannel shirt. But being the holidays and all, I wanted to dress up my uniform a bit. I added a classic navy blazer, pearls, pointy pumps, a glitter clutch and my number one luxe weapon: red lipstick. (more…)

Fashion Staple Used: Striped Maxi Dress
I’ve always loved the Western trend. To make my dress cowgirl chic for daytime, I added a denim shirt and cowboy inspired boots. During the summer time, I usually tie my button-down over a dress. But for winter, I simply folded it underneath and secured it with a thick waist belt. Continuing my emerald kick, I added some green jewels to bring out the print of the skirt. If it’s cold where you live, you can easily wear thick tights under this outfit to stay warm. (more…)
