Fashion Staple Used: Embellished Tee
The one day I was in New York last week, a Nor’easter swept the city. The storm was a cold mix of snow and rain. But since I was going backstage at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show (check out my video here!), I kept to my original outfit choice: a mix of vegan leather, faux fur and metal embellishments. By layering a sleeveless button-down underneath, I was able to change the look of my tee for daytime. (more…)

ttF Fashion Staple: Flat Black Boots
Living in LA, you don’t really get to experience the change in seasons. So I treasure the moments I get to frolic in fall leaves when visiting the east coast. The NYC foliage inspired today’s mustard color palette. But the outfit itself reminded me more of Cher from Clueless. I think it was the combo of the sheer oversize button-up and black and yellow mix.

Speaking of blond actresses, my friends and I had a Reese Witherspoon sighting during an amaze brunch at Commerce. We spent the rest of the day shopping, and then I took my duo statement necklaces off and hopped on a plane back home in my comfy layers.

ttF Fashion Staple: Cropped Faux Fur Vest and Oversize Black Clutch
Last time I wore this dress was at New York Fashion Week. I had seen so much tweed and leather on the runway for fall, so it felt appropriate to bring the combo back out in NYC. I added a fur vest to stay warm during a delish dinner at Olives at the W. And I glammed up the look by layering two necklaces to create one statement accessory for drinks at Rose Bar.
