Can you post another JLo-inspired post featuring her Victoria Beckham dress that she wore on American Idol last night? I’d really love to see a more cost-effective version of the style. —@Legz02

The Scene: Talking Prom Fashion With NBC LA

I spent today dishing about prom fashion with NBC LA. We had so much fun picking out dresses and accessories for  two high school students from Glendora. As for me? I went for this gorgeous printed number, adding a pastel necklace for day. Then I glammed it up with a crystal Dannijo necklace for later that evening to talk more trends in the NBC studio before celebrating Restoration Hardware’s Spring 2012 launch.

Staple Used: Beaded Skirt
I’m a firm believer that you shouldn’t reserve sparkle for night. With a neutral color palette, beading, sequins and glitter easily works for daytime. Just mix blush, gray, silver, cream and nude!

Starring Silver

I’ve teamed up with Nine West to bring a week long of shine into my life… Starring Silver. The metallic color works perfectly with spring’s pastel hues and these platforms couldn’t be any comfier. Whitney Port even featured them on Whitney Eve’s runway during fashion week!

I highly recommend joining the high shine movement. All you have to do is Instagram a photo of your fave spring trend and tag it #starringsilver. Receive the most votes and you can win a trip to one of my fave vacation spots (and my hometown): Miami!
Just one more reason silver shoes are awesome? They work from day to night. While I went feminine with a peplum mini, the platforms also exude a Studio 54 sexiness, perfect for any Miami nightclub. I love how Nine West styled the Fastlife for a night in the VIP room in their spring campaign video…
