Shirt dresses never go out of style. And plaid comes back every season. So this vintage piece seemed like a pretty safe investment. I used a double wrap belt to avoid getting lost in the fabric and accented it with neutral accessories for a day of errands.

ttF Fashion Staple: Lamé Skirt
Before attending the Two Point Oh! LA Snowball, I had the pleasure of getting pampered at a styling suite hosted by Be Your Best You in Culver City. I indulged in a bronze Essie mani and fab hairstyling by DJ Riggs of EDIA. The Bridget Bardot locks certainly glammed up my preppty-meets-luxe mix of a cableknit sweater and gold skirt with shearling booties for the day.

ttF Fashion Staple: Lamé Skirt
To celebrate the season, Nine West asked a group of bloggers to create a holiday city guide. Living in Los Angeles, I never get to experience a white Christmas. But that doesn’t mean you can’t fake it. Enter CHILL, the hybrid skating rink at the W Los Angeles. Before slipping on my skates, I toasted with friends in our Z Gallerie-decorated cabana. The flat screen fire place was an extra cozy touch. It was as if I was back on the east coast… except I didn’t have to cover up my metallic ice skating outfit with a coat.

ttF Fashion Staple: Sequined Top
Last night I needed an outfit to take me from a chic Monika Chiang event hosted by BagSnob to a more casual Victorinox gathering to Shana Halligan’s record release party. Plus, I was freezing! To stay warm, I tucked my faux leather leggings into my new shearling boots, which I like to call my fancy UGGs. A sequined top made the look more feminine while a blazer added a polished finish.
