Today’s episode of the A-Z Trend Guide series could not have come at a more perfect time. F is for Fringe, which is one of the biggest trends for Coachella! I talked about fringe on my KTLA segment over the weekend (you can watch it here). And even if your’e not attending the fashion music festival, you can certainly incorporate fringe pieces in your wardrobe. See two of the ways I’m wearing the trend in the video above. Neon & Nude… and Five Things

Fashion Staple: Neon Print Jacket
My favorite thing to pair with neon is nude. By dressing in head-to-toe neutrals, I was really able to let the print of the jacket remain the main focus of my outfit. I played around with proportions by layering a longer tank under the jacket. It makes it more effortless and casual than tucking your top in.

Ask Sydne: Tangerine Tango Look for Less?
I’m turning 21 in two weeks and I envision myself wearing your Tangerine Tango look. However my bank account won’t allow me to spend so much. Could direct me to a similar style? —Carldeon
Happy early birthday! My Ted Baker dress actually went on sale at Zappos. Now it’s $292.99! If that’s still out of your price range, I found a similar dress at Nordstrom. It runs a little large so you’ll want to order a size down. Unfortunately, the smallest size is a 4, so if you’re itty-bitty you might want to try this option instead.
As for jewelry, you can use one of my fave DIY tricks: get some inexpensive rhinestone pieces. Then, paint the stones with nail polish. Sephora has a similar mint shade as the Chanel one I wore to my party. Plus, you can use it for your manicure as well!
1. Donna Morgan dress, $158
2. ASOS belt, $10.44
3. Forever 21 earrings, $6.80
4. Sephora Nail Lacquer in Mint Sherbet, $4
5. Forever 21 bracelet, $8.80
ttF Fashion Diary: Tweed Lady
ttF Fashion Staple: Cold Shoulder Blouse
Last month, I showed six ways to wear a ladylike jacket. This tweed version is equally as versatile. I’ve worn it with jeans, dresses and today, cigarette pants. I usually wear this brooch on the jacket, but instead used it to add interest to my tie blouse. Since the jacket covers the slit sleeves, the blouse became conservative enough for meetings. And how amazing is this bag? It’s another accessory I borrowed from my mom’s fab collection. The patent texture is a fresh spin on the ombré trend.
