Monochromatic outfits are extremely slimming. When you dress in one color (even if it’s a pastel!) you instantly shed five pounds. And you don’t have to worry about the colors matching exactly. It’s fine if they’re different shades. Then, use nudes and metallics—yes, you can mix rose gold and gold—to complete the look.

Floral Picnic
Staple Used: Peach Blouse
After having so much fun at last week’s picnic, my friends and I decided to go back for another afternoon of cheese and champagne. I kept with florals, substituting my jeans for my fave rose bug print shorts. Flats probably would have been a more sensible choice but I really wanted to accent my outfit with orange. Plus, my heels were a hit with the new poodle friend I made at Wattles mansion. Bunny Bell got very jealous.
