Grease Lightning

Staple Used: Polka Dot Skirt
Everything about this outfit is on trend from the neon and polka dots to the high-low hem and spiked heels. But when I put it on I felt like twirling as if I was a Pink Lady in the 1950s, especially when I topped it off with a leather jacket.

If the neon snakeprint looks familiar it might be because you remember it from this post. Yes, it’s actually a dress! Since my skirt has a decent amount of volume I was able to layer a dress underneath. I simply used some double-stick tape to temporarily hem the dress so the pink didn’t peek out below the polka dots.

Working Spots

Staple Used: Polka Dot Skirt
This silk button-down blouse has quickly become my all time fave. You’ve seen me wear it three ways in neon pink, in yellow and once before in white. I’m pretty much obsessed. It just makes everything look so put together, like this polka dot skirt, which instantly transforms into an office-appropriate piece. I added pops of red, which is a classic accent to black and white.

Stripes and Dots

Staple Used: Polka Dot Skirt
My favorite print to mix with polka dots is stripes. And it’s so simple to do when you stick to black and white. You can even combine two striped items, like I did with my tee and cardigan. I kept the rest of my outfit neutral and added color with my neon pink and red mani.

It’s one of my quick beauty tricks: when your nail polish starts to chip, simply add a stripe of color on top for a fresh French manicure.
