Fashion Staple: Sequined Jacket
A sequin jacket is incredibly versatile. You can wear it with jeans, like I did earlier in the week, or use it to give a little black dress a whole new look. I’ve been loving silver heels recently. So I used the metallic to bring out the shine of the jacket, then added an extra pop with some crystal accessories. It was perfect Friday outfit for a night out with my girls. The Scene: QVC Oscars Party

I kicked off this awards weekend at QVC’s annual Oscars bash. It was so much fun partying with some of my blogger babes on the red carpet and seeing fabulous stars in QVC’s live show. When deciding what to wear for the star-studded event, I was inspired by the deep pink hues I fell in love with this past fashion week. If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you know my passion for peplum. And lace, being one of spring’s biggest trends, was perfectly on point for the evening.
The Scene: My Woodstock Hippie Birthday Party
Tomorrow is my actual birthday. But I celebrated this weekend. Every year I have a theme party. You’ve seen 80s and Swanky 60s… and this year it was Woodstock. So what do you wear to a hippie themed birthday? Vintage and plenty of flower power, of course!

ttF Fashion Staple: Black Lace Cardigan
One of the the things I’m thankful for living in Southern California is the weather. Where else can you spend a November afternoon with wine, a fireplace and the ocean? To stay warm, I went with a similar outfit to this one last year, substituting the thermal for lace. A stretchy belt allowed me to indulge during our delish meal at L’Auberge… and enjoy an extra slice of pie when we got home. I’m so thankful for all you readers. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving too!
