Fashion Staple Used: White Blazer
A white blazer is the perfect piece to make fall prints work in the summer. Take this leopard dress, for example. Had I worn it with a black jacket it would have looked a little dark for August. Crisp white brightens up the outfit. When it cools down, I’ll add in the dark leather and tights.

Fashion Staple: Striped Mini Dress
A few weeks ago I hosted a cabana at W Westwood‘s Swim at Escape. Although it was a cool night, the event was poolside, so I needed something extra summery. Stripes and neon seemed like the perfect solution. I added a nude bootie to lengthen my legs while still remaining casual and threw on some statement jewelry for good measure. Staple Used: Bright Shorts
Mixing prints is all about experimentation. I started off with two solids: a nude tank and teal shorts. After adding my new zebra blazer, I thought about going with a basic shoe. But instead decided to take a walk on the wild side with leopard heels. Normally, I would add simple gold jewelry. But I’ve been dying to wear this necklace I got at at Karla Deras (of Karla’s Closet)’s jewelry launch party. So I figured why not triple up on animal prints?

Staple Used: Flower Appliqué Top
I’m certainly not edgy. But I do like toughening up the more feminine pieces in my wardrobe from time to time. A leather jacket and spiked stilettos make it easy. I love the contrast of a sheer skirt, floral top and rhinestone necklace with these edgier pieces.
