I absolutely love unexpected color combos. So I knew I wanted to pair this vibrant red dress with equally bold turquoise. I borrowed these jewels (which were so hard to give back!) and added gold accents with a glitter clutch and my fave Manolos. I felt very Carrie Bradshaw and just had to twirl throughout the evening.

Patriotic Flair
Staple Used: Red Dress
I’m going to be running a charity 5k tomorrow at 8am. So I’m kicking off July 4th in workout gear. But after that I plan on changing into a girlie, patriotic outfit similar to this one. Nothing says America quite like denim. And a jean jacket is the perfect topper to any Independence Day outfit.

Cardigan Chic
Staple Used: Red Dress
Belting a cardigan over a dress instantly makes it office appropriate. Since I didn’t have a skinny belt on hand that worked with my outfit, I improvised by doubling the strap of a vintage purse around my waist. With a little creativity, you can always find something in your closet that works! And since my jewelry was in neutral smoky topaz, it wasn’t too much bling for work.
