ttF Fashion Staple: Oversize Black Clutch
Last night, Swarovski Elements invited me to attend a lighting ceremony on Rodeo Drive. The entire street sparkled as Jessica Alba and the mayor of Beverly Hills lit up the installation, which allows people from around the world to send holiday message by using the hashtag #letitsparkle on Twitter. You can read more about it here.  While Jessica embraced the winter wonderland in a gorgeous ivory Carolina Herrera dress, I went with the season’s sheer black trend. I used this jumpsuit on a shoot this weekend, but made it more modern with a belt and minimal jewelry. For pics from the party at The Blvd inside the Beverly Wilshire, check out my Tumblr!

ttF Fashion Diary: Minimal Mini

ttF Fashion Staple: Oversize Black Clutch
Last night I was freezing when getting ready. I had two choices: 1) Find a dress that I’d be comfortable wearing a jacket with all night or 2) go with long sleeves. I opted for the latter. This sweater is the perfect balance. The front and one sleeve is cashmere, and the back and other sleeve is sheer. So I didn’t overheat at the X-Box Miracle of Music Benefit or L Bar. Plus, the conservative neckline balanced out the short hemline of my skirt.

ttF Fashion Staple: Black & Gold Watch
It seemed like everyone was having an event tonight. I needed an outfit that was comfortable to hop from place to place while still making a statement. Enter the classic blazer and jeans… with a twist. I recently bought this jacket on sale at Bloomingdale’s and have always been a fan of mixing red with polka dots. I took the color combo one step further with my arm candy. Then I added my surprisingly comfortable platforms to dash from STK for a Michelle Jonas Travelwear party to a BCBG shopping event and Erinn V Mason opening. Gotta love Thursday nights!

ttF Fashion Staple: Oversize Black Clutch
Peplum is a huge trend for spring. So I decided to get a head start and try it out for dinner at the Peruvian restaurant, Picca. I belted a ruffle blouse to give it more of an hourglass shape and kept it skinny on bottom with textured denim. A classic pair of heels helped elongate the look.
