Fashion Staple: Pleated Dress
One of my favorite activities in New York is Sunday brunch. It’s so leisurely, there’s the best food and you get to walk it off the rest of the afternoon strolling around the city. To make my dress casual enough for a day at Cafe Gitane and the Highline, I transitioned it into a skirt by layering a tee on top. I liked how the stripes mixed with the print of the dress. A thick, stretchy waist belt kept everything in place. Of course, I forgot my camera and had to put my outfit back on and take the pics the following morning… in the rain. So please excuse the water drops!
