Ann Taylor recently asked me style their Falling Petals Sheath Dress two different ways. I, of course, immediately took the challenge! For my first look, I accented the dress with white and crystal jewelry and added an extra pop with a colorblock clutch. Since I’m petite, I like to use a nude shoe to lengthen my legs when I’m wearing longer hemlines. These comfy heels did just the trick. For my second look, I mixed prints by layering a floral cardigan on top of the dress, turning it into a skirt.

ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Socks With Sandals
I really haven’t been a fan of the socks with sandals trend. But for a recent photo shoot, I had to show to make the trend work—and I ended up sort of liking it. So much so, that I decided to rocks the socks the next day to work. It worked for a couple of reasons: 1) The socks are a very similar color to the shoe, much like Burberry’s spring runway. And 2) the rest of my outfit was a little retro, which worked with the quirky footwear.
Will I wear start wearing socks every day? Certainly not. But when I’m due for a pedi and don’t feel like wearing boots, at least I know the option is available.
