Staple Used: Leather Shirt
I’ve never been one to shy away from color. And a black and denim outfit is the perfect backdrop to go wild with brights and neons. So I did just that with floral wedges and fluorescent accessories. When I walked past this awesome mural I knew that’s where I had to take my photo. I love the splatter paint effect on the bird’s wings and it’s inspiring me to drum up some future artistic outfits.

Staple Used: Leather Shirt
I’m normally not a pink girl. But I really like the way this outfit turned out the other week. So I recreated the color scheme with a totally different look. It’s fun to make a black and white outfit pop with a bold color. While black accessories would have been fine, I wanted to tone down the outfit for day with nudes. The scarf was a last minute addition. I was looking for a statement necklace but thought it would be different to mix prints instead.

Staple Used: Floral Jeans
Florals are undeniably girlie. But mixed with black you can bring them into the night. I paired my trendy jeans with classics: a black tank, blazer and pointy pumps. Then, I added a statement necklace for a dose of sparkle. It was the perfect outfit to go from meetings to happy hour at The Hudson.

Beauty Tip: Nail polish is an easy way to try out spring trends. I did my multi-pastel mani with Sally Hansen Smooth & Perfect in Whisper, Air, Sea and Sorbet. But be forewarned: the entire week my manicure made me crave macarons!

Staple Used: Floral Jeans
I’m a huge fan of matchy-matchy. So for a casual day look, I brought out the pastels of my printed denim with a mint tee and lavender sunnies. I added a pop of turquoise but kept the rest of the outfit fairly neutral with gray, cream and gold. It’s all about balance, after all.
