Fashion Staple Used: T-Shirt Dress
By the time we left Maui, I had already worn my t-shirt dress twice. So I decided to turn it into a top when I got to Waikiki. Since it’s such a lightweight material, it easily folds under, perfect for wearing with colorful cut-offs. For a little color-blocking I added orange accessories and kept my face protected from the Hawaiian sun with oversize sunnies and a floppy hat.

I dressed up my t-shirt dress for the Old Lahaina Luau by adding a statement necklace, wedges and a new clutch I bought specifically for Hawaii (I wore it basically every night!). When we arrived, we were given leis and plenty of floral decor, which only added to my beachy look. A basic dress is the way to go when you want to add some tropical accessorizing!

Fashion Staple Used: T-Shirt Dress
The beauty of this t-shirt dress is it’s lined. Take out the slip underneath and it instantly become the perfect cover-up (it also double as a towel for a little tanning on the beach). While I was in Hawaii staying at Makena Beach & Golf Resort, I wore it over my favorite neon bikini. It’s been hard for me to find a bandeau. But this one offers ideal support while still remaining comfortable for a full day in the sun.
