As you probably know from reading my blog, I’m a huge fan of Ann Taylor. I also have loved Kate Hudson ever since she played Penny Lane in Almost Famous. So it’s safe to say I was beyond ecstatic to hear that duo was teaming up for a capsule collection (it launches today!). The Kate Hudson for Ann Taylor collection is white hot… literally. It’s full of elegant white pieces and rose gold accents. I was lucky enough to choose my favorites. I went with this timeless white dress, which reminds me of a day version of Kate’s awards season gowns. Thanks to it’s asymmetrical hem and sheer paneled neckline, it doesn’t need much else aside from some bangles and metallic shoe—another brilliant Kate design that is oh so comfortable! (more…)

Fashion Staple: Fringe Vest
A long vest easily becomes a top when you belt it. To avoid any embarrassing moments either wear a camisole underneath or use two pieces of double-stick tape to secure the fabric to your bra. Since there was so much volume on top, I contrasted it with a skinny jean and stilettos. If you don’t have a scarf vest, you can create a similar look with a printed scarf, like I did here. (more…)

The beauty of a bold dress is it doesn’t require too much accessorizing. I went with similar neutral accents as Friday night to let the color remain the main focus. Neon is one of my obsessions. So I instantly fell in love with this bright suede top the minute I saw it in the window. I brought out the clean lines of the top with some geometric jewelry and sleek leggings. A little tip when rocking the leather leggings trend?
