Fashion Staple Used: Striped Strapless Swimsuit
Happy Swim Week! This week, I’m showing how you can style a swimsuit on, and off, the beach. I chose a one-piece, because it doubles as a bodysuit, which is perfect for summer vacay. Having a smaller chest, I’m usually hesitant about strapless styles. But this one (on sale!) has a bit of padding, so it works for all body types.
The stripes reminded me of an old Barbie I had as a kid. So I added white cat eye sunnies for more of a retro feel. Another great thing about the stripes? They’re strategically placed with white stripes highlighting your top half and thick black stripes slimming down your hips. Love optical illusions! I doubled up on stripes with a fun beach bag, then added a breezy pair of linen pants (also on sale!) when it came time to head from the beach to a light lunch by the water.
