Happy Friday from New York fashion week! I’ve been having so much fun attending shows and catching up with friends. I’ll start sharing my looks Monday but in the meantime I wanted to do a little fashion week Flashback Friday since so many of the trends I wore last year are still on trend this season!

Metallics

Everything is still glittering in gold… and silver and rose gold. I got a ton of use out of the gold dress I wore last fashion week. After pairing it with over the knee boots in New York, I wore it with heels for holiday parties.

Dark Florals

It’s all about florals for Fall 2018. We already chatted about how to wear florals for fall in this week’s Trend Guide and I gave some fun shopping options. I’m sure glad I kept this mini dress from last year!

Red

One of the biggest color trends for Fall 2018 is red. The red pants I wore last year are actually still available! At fashion week I went bold with a crop top. Later in the year I took inspiration from Amal Clooney and paired them with a camel sweater.

Plaid

Plaid comes back every fall (stay tuned for a Trend Guide on the print!). This set I wore last year was one of my favorites. I later paired the skirt with a turtleneck and wore the bustier with jeans.
