So for Jack Jack’s gotcha day, we went with an under the sea theme. The dress code: ocean blues and anything mermaid inspired. I let Preston’s girlfriend pick my party dress from my closet (she grabbed a few accessories for herself too). This one was twirl-worthy, comfy, and the smocking is very mom friendly. I layered pearl and beaded necklaces for a little touch of mermaidcore. Style tip: For themed parties, skip the costume and use color and texture to bring the vibe.
