Let’s get dressed for the farmer’s market🧺

Wide leg pants are usually my go-to, but sometimes it is fun to mix things up. Enter the khaki maxi skirt: lightweight, elastic waist, and roomy pockets = everything I want in a spring skirt.

I tied up an oversized button-down (this one was actually a maternity fave!) to keep it relaxed. But the spring outfit still makes me feel put together.… even if I’m just picking up flowers and a croissant with my son. The hole in the back of my hat is also a lifesaver for a quick ponytail if it gets too hot!

Style tip: Instead of tying your shirt in one big knot, slip one end through the bottom buttonhole to let the fabric drape more easily and feel lighter. 💛

Mornings are chilly in San Diego, so I’ve been reaching for this striped sweater nonstop. It’s a comfy oversized knit, but the stripes make it feel more polished. It’s affordable, so I don’t stress about toddler spills. One of my go-tos is layering it over a tee, jeans, and sneakers… with a gold chain if I’m feeling fancy.

Style Tip: Tuck your tee into your undies to make it stay in place (especially helpful at the playground!) 💛

 Cozy for the plane, ready for poolside drinks if the room’s not ready. Literally wiw this week: the tank and joggers kept things comfy (zipped pockets were super helpful at the airport!). This $15 sweater kept me cozy on the flight and I just tossed it in my carryon for margarita cheers.

 This is my version of dressed up without actually dressing up. A cheerful cardigan over jeans is easy, comfy, and perfect for early dinner with my boyfriend and son—plus, everything’s washable (hello, toddler ketchup hands!)

I kept it comfy for my drive with the relaxed version of my favorite jeans and ballet flats that feel more like slippers than shoes. Went with a cardi I could easily unbutton post-cut and topped it off with a trench—because LA wind is no joke! 🧥

And yes, I drove 5 hours just to spend 3 hours in LA… because mama needed Botox and a haircut. @drjessicawu is the only one I trust with my face (more on that next week on Substack!), and @mikahairstylist at @kimvosalon always does the best cuts. 💇🏻‍♀️
