Wedding season is in full swing. I don’t know about you, but I have a friend getting married every month! My most recent wedding was my dear friend Jeannine. You might know her from her blog, Beauty Sweet Spot. Jeannine got married in NYC and was such a beautiful bride. My favorite part of the wedding was the butterfly surprise. After the ceremony, guests lined up outside the church and were handed envelopes with live butterflies inside. When the bride and groom walked out, we all let the butterflies fly!
The reception, held at Tribecca Rooftop, was black tie optional. Wedding dress codes are tricky. For black tie optional you can do a cocktail dress or a gown. I chose to do a little bit of both with a high-low hemline. It was a super windy day and the train of my green dress made for great photo ops! I glammed it up with gold accessories and my hot date.
