ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Channeling Charlotte York
I usually wear jeans to go to the movies. But Sex and the City 2 isn’t your average theater experience. So I got decked out in my Charlotte York finest and headed to the Shagri-La Hotel in Santa Monica to have a few cocktails before the flick. As the official vodka of SATC, Skyy threw a little party, complete with beauty services and, of course, drinks made with Patricia Field’s limited edition bottle. I could have used a few more vodka sodas inside the theater to get through the incredibly long movie. Carrie and Samantha’s character bored me but Charlotte, like always, was a pleasure to watch. And when she popped onto the screen wearing a fitted sheath, I couldn’t help but look down at my own dress and smile.
