ttF Fashion Staples Series: Pencil and Chain
For the past two years, my go-to outfit for work has been a pencil skirt, a v-neck tee and some type of statement necklace. I talked about the versatile uniform when WorkChic profiled me in a Steal Her Style post. Today, I went with a ribbed red top and chain necklace that I found years ago at It’s a Wrap in Burbank. The store sells wardrobe from different TV shows and movies. I don’t know where this piece was worn but I had to have it.

Very pretty dress. I would wear it with metallic sandals, some sparkly bracelets and either dangling earrings or a delicate necklace. Have fun at the wedding!

Pink goes with any metallic. For a wedding, I’d probably go with a champagne clutch and either similar metallic sandals or a nude heel. But gold definitely works too.
