ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Tennis Chic at SPiN
With Halloween just a few days away, my friend Jenn hosted a birthday party at SPiN, requesting that everyone dressed “tennis chic.” If you haven’t heard of SPiN, it’s the whole ping pong craze that swept New York. I think of it as a very posh version of a frat party. So, it was very fitting that I still had my skirt from a tennis themed bash back in college. I tied a cable knit sweater over my shoulders (another college purchase—I also added the preppy staple to Kristen’s look) and wore my new Reebok EasyTones (which I highly recommend). To make my staples work with the outfit, I piled on the jewelry, Carmela Soprano style.
