The holidays are a time to truly sparkle. Plus, it being the last month of my ttF Fashion Staples Series, I really wanted to shine. So I went all out with sequins, glitter and bling.

1. Metallic Bouclé Jacket (Zara)
I bought this jacket during my trip to Barcelona. The metallic yarn makes it easy to wear with silver or gold, and the slight shoulder pads balance out a pear shape.

2. Tortoise Necklace (J. Crew)
Tortoise shell is a huge trend in accessories right now. It goes equally well with black as it does with brown. And I love how J. Crew adds a bit of sparkle with crystal links.

3. Sequined Top (Zara)
This was another Barcelona purchase. It reminded me of a short-sleeve version of the top Nina Garcia wore on the season finale of Project Runway. If only I had the luxe pant suit to match! Instead, I plan on dressing it down with denim for more casual days.

4. Lamé Skirt (Vintage)
This was one of my fab finds during a trip to Shareen vintage. But you can find similar versions in department stores right now. Just goes to show that a gold skirt never goes out of style.

5. Glitter Bag (J. Crew)
It’s hard to walk through a mall these days without spotting glitter. What I like about this clutch is the sturdy chain, which instantly transforms it into a more casual cross-body bag. That way you can wear it from day into night.

6. Bejeweled Peep Toes (Steve Madden)
I got these shoes as part of the Steve Brings It! Holiday campaign. Rose gold is incredibly on trend this season. And when it comes to footwear, it’s a great alternative to classic gold or silver.
