Thanks to everyone who came out to last year’s charity flea market. It was such a success that I decided to host another one! This year, I’ve teamed up with blogger babes An of Haute Pink Pretty and Sheryl of Walk in Wonderland. We’ll be selling clothing, accessories, shoes and unused beauty products… and 100% of the proceeds go to charity! Here are the deets:
When: Sunday, August 18th, 10AM-1PM
Where: Kravetz PR Courtyard: 822 N. La Cienega, Los Angeles, CA 90069
Parking: There is plenty of parking on the street. The courtyard is a few doors down from Spanish Kitchen
What to Bring: Cash only please!
As most of you know, I’m a huge animal person. I rescued my Pom mix, Bunny Bell, from the Bill Foundation over five years ago and it was one of the best decisions of my life! I’ve also volunteered at Best Friends Animal Society, which is a wonderful rescue group who started NKLA. The initiative aims to make Los Angeles a no-kill city. They just opened a shelter this month and I couldn’t think of a better charity to donate all my proceeds to. If you can’t make the event, you can always donate on the NKLA website.
Some more Q&A facts about the event…
What sizes will there be?
Clothing will range from XS-L. There will be a lot of 6.5 & 7 shoes but also 8 & 9 options. And there will be plenty of accessories!
Is everything new or used?
There is a combination of both. Some items from my closet have been gently worn. Many items are pieces I’ve used on shoots and have only been worn by models for an hour. Other pieces are brand new! All the beauty products are unused.
What is the pricing?
Prices will range depending on the product. Most items will be between $5-$50. There will also be a large $1 box for all you bargain hunters!
Can anyone come?
Yes! The event is open to the public so feel free to invite your friends!
Will everything go to charity?
Yes, 100% of my proceeds will be donated to NKLA. An and Sheryl will be donating 100% of theirs to The Farley Project and Dress for Success, which are both wonderful charities as well.
Can I meet Bunny?
Of course! Bunny will be attendance as a representative of how amazing rescue dogs are.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask them below. We look forward to seeing you next Sunday!
