I’ve recently been into drop waist hemlines (you may remember my pre-fashion week Staples Series here). I used to think you couldn’t pull off the style unless you were straight and narrow. But you can! Especially when the cut of your dress helps create a slimming illusion, which this one does with geometric colorblocking at the bodice. A v-neck also helps elongate your figure. For fashion week, I upped my style game by contrasting the lace with leopard and adding a bold red lips with retro waves.
