The Staple: Skinny White Jeans
Who Makes It: Diesel
Why I Chose It: I’ve been on, like, a lifetime-long odyssey for white jeans that are heavy enough and fit well enough not to make me look like a heifer and these are THE pair. Finally. They’re ripped to help me look just a little badass (which isn’t easy) and look amaze with prints. I can’t believe I finally found a pair of wearable white jeans.
Where I’d Wear It: Anywhere but my financial gig! I’ve been wearing these jeans on the weekends, to industry events, on dates, on vaca, everywhere. I wind up having to wash them quite often as NYC street scum flies up and gunks them up more often than I’d like, but a quick spin in the washer takes care of it.
1. I’ve paired it with a Missoni flowy top I purchased from Karen Robinovitz at a “sample sale” at her apartment.
2. I’m wearing it with a silk tie-dye smocked top from Calypso for Target (I have a secret weakness for smocking AND tie-dye–I basically bought out the collection) and cage wedge heels by House of Harlow.
3. I’m rocking my Diesels with a Geren Ford V-neck grey and black striped puffed sleeve short-sleeved shirt and the same House of Harlow shoes.
