This is one of my favorite fashion hacks, especially during this time of year. It helps you get more use out of your holiday dresses! You can do it with most fitted dresses as long as your sweater is a bit of a thicker knit and/or a darker color than your dress.

• Layer a sweater over your dress
• Tuck the front of the sweater into a thin waist belt and blouse it over to cover the belt
• Fold the fabric of the sweater in back underneath

Snaps from Preston’s first Thanksgiving 🦃

This was definitely my favorite Thanksgiving yet! Usually my family and I do an untraditional Thanksgiving dinner with stone crabs from Miami. But this year was PJ’s first holiday + my stepsister and her kids were visiting. So we did a traditional meal with turkey, all the sides and the best home baked pies. 🍒🥧

Preston and I were in charge of the turkey charcuterie board and JJ and Chubbs were happy to help with clean up duty.

One of my favorite parts of the day? Seeing Preston stare at his cousin in awe as she played jingle bells on her viola (swipe to the end to see the cuteness!). 🎻

{Look 1} A black sweater and jeans is such a simple classic combo. But with sleeves like these, the outfit instantly gets dressed up a notch. And how cute is Preston’s dog print set?!

{Look 2} Just because I’m a boy mom doesn’t mean I can’t have a matching moment with my baby: enter the coziest cardigan jacket. I wear mine with jeans. PJ wears his with pants (I’ve bought these in every size for him since he was a newborn).

I started editing my second Black Friday sales OOTW reel… but I kept laughing watching my boys. So I decided to do a little BTS edit first. I hope it brings a smile to your face too!

I used to knockout like 10 reels in a day. But as you can see with the dancing, laughing and me trying not trip over a human or a pup, these days I’m lucky if I can film two 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Considering almost every Black Friday sale is already under way, this week’s outfits were inspired by Black Friday. Not only because they’re all black outfits. Everything I’m wearing is on sale… the clothing and the shoes!

{Look 1} I’m all for classic outfits I can wear every season, especially since I live in California. You can never go wrong with a fitted sweater tank and cardigan. I love the long split sleeves on this one. And these are my favorite pants and my favorite loafers EVER!

{Look 2} You can never go wrong with a LBD… especially when it’s in a classic silhouette. I’ve worn this same dress in different colors with different sleeves for over a decade. It fits like a glove and creates an hourglass silhouette. To make it holiday, I simply tied some red ribbon from my wrapping in a bow around my ponytail.

{Look 3} I’ve had this top for years in black and blush. It’s one of my favorites and you can wear it with anything from jeans to skirts and yes, leather pants. These are on sale today only. I highly suggest picking up a pair!
