Sleek & Simple: The UbyK Ponytail

Sydne Style U by Kotex at Target free Goody hair elastic sleek ponytail leather dress free coupon

One of my go-to hairstyles when I’m in a rush is a sleek ponytail. It takes under 5 minutes to do and is such a great compliment to fall’s leather trend. Plus, you only need a few essentials to create it: a round brush, hairspray, a toothbrush and, of course, a hair elastic. It’s important to have a strong elastic and it’s even better when they’re free! When you buy U by Kotex at Target you get free Goody hair elastics (text KOTEX to TARGET 827438 for the coupon). Here’s how I used mine to get the look:

Step 1: Use a round brush to smooth your hair and pull it back into a ponytail.
Step 2: Secure your ponytail with a Goody hair elastic.
Step 3: Hairspray your hair, avoiding the ponytail.
Step 4: Hairspray an old toothbrush and use it to tame any flyaways.

Not sure what to do with all the extra free elastics? Wear them on your wrist! Inspired by U by Kotex packaging, I combined the neon colors with other bracelets to create a colorful arm party for my all black outfit.
