ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Foley + Corinna
Last night Dana Foley + Anna Corinna and POSHGLAM hosted a shopping party at the Foley + Corinna store on Melrose. Everything was 40% and there was champagne and cupcakes, i.e. it was heaven. Anna took me through a preview of the upcoming F+C fall collection. There were curve-hugging leather dresses and jackets, sexy lace-up leather leggings, shimmering knits and a cool new style bag that can be worn three ways. But my absolute fave was a jacket that Anna called an alternative to fur. It was so incredibly chic, with layers of tulle that resembled feathers from afar. It’s the perfect piece for an animal lover… or an Angeleno that doesn’t want to wear a fuzzy coat when it’s only 60 degrees in the winter. It also comes in a vest but the jacket is extremely high on my wish list for next season.

My mom’s been the hunt for a navy bag so I bought her the Foley + Corinna Moto Hobo as a belated Mother’s Day present. And I scored a Foley + Corinna Mid City Tote for myself. Afterward, my friend Stephanie took me to dinner at Olive, a delish new restaurant at the Grafton on Sunset. A night full of fashion, shopping, food and wine = me very happy.
