ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Hudson Jeans VIP After Hours
Tonight, I attended the first-ever Hudson After Hours LA party. It was a VIP preview featuring Hudson Jeans’ latest collections held at SBE’s new Hamptons-inspired club, The Colony. There were edgy jeggings with zippers running down the entire backside of the leg, retro patchwork jeans, cool gray washes and cropped pants. My faves were the cargo styles: both the simple ones and the edgier pair with a pocket in front.
I went to the event with my friend Kinya and Jamie, who was my twinsie again with a matching cross-body bag. It’s a really cool, eco-friendly purse we received as swag made from synthetic leather and recycled plastic bottles. Jamie wore hers as a clutch, so at least we weren’t exactly the same.
I used my scarf staple as a skirt. It’s risky but after two prior tries, I’ve gotten the hang of it. You need to wear a pair of boy shorts or bandeau skirt underneath. Then, wrap the scarf around your hips and tuck the edges into your underwear. A long, form-fitting top keeps everything in place. The only annoying part? You have to readjust every time you use the restroom.
Between the jeans, yummy grapefruit cocktails and hanging out with my new and old blogger pals, Eye4Style, Spoiled Little LA Girls and the Queen of the Quarter Life Crisis, it was one fab evening.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
